We have operated for many years to the Azores and have a wealth of experience in arranging holidays to these islands. We know our featured properties and islands, and are happy to answer any questions that you might have, in order to help design a holiday itinerary which suits you perfectly.

However, these holidays are not fixed, they are just examples designed to give you a realistic idea of the costs involved. For instance, over a three-week period it is possible to visit all nine islands should you want to do so and we can make all the necessary arrangements for such a trip. It is also possible to combine a stay in the Azores with a holiday on Madeira, or with a stay on the Portuguese mainland. Our programme to the Azores is flexible and the possibilities endless!

The islands of the Azores each have their own unique character, history and local customs, and in turn have much to offer the discerning traveller. Although not an island hopping destination in the sense of the Greek Islands it is possible to pre-book multi-island holidays for clients staying one week or longer.
SATA Air Acores operate inter-island flights between each of the nine islands, with at least one flight per day from Sao Miguel to each island, and 3-4 flights per day connecting the islands of Sao Miguel, Faial and Terceira (see below for further information). There is also a regular ferry service, during the summer months, between the central islands of Faial, Pico and Sao Jorge which can be booked as part of a multi-centre holiday – see note below.
Itinerary One - 7 nights
Using scheduled flights with SATA International from London Gatwick or Manchester to Ponta Delgada (every Saturday between 01Nov08 and 31Oct09, and every Tuesday from 07Apr-20Oct – London Gatwick departures only).
Itinerary Two - 12 nights
Using scheduled flights with TAP Portugal from London, via Lisbon, to Terceira and returning from Ponta Delgada (Sao Miguel), via Lisbon, to London. Holidays of any duration can be arranged using the daily, indirect flight service with TAP Portugal.
Note: Although there are ferry services between the other islands, we do not recommend this method of transportation to our clients as the journeys are often long (ranging from c. 4-6 hours) and the service unreliable.
